Vanilla Shortbread

It wouldn't be Christmas without shortbread so we've teamed up with the Protein Chef and are giving you a new, delicious recipe to try! Whether you're looking for a tasty snack to enjoy with your cup of tea or wanting to give a homemade gift this year, our Vanilla Shortbread could be just the thing.



250g Unsalted butter

Splash of UFIT Vanilla

125g golden granulated sugar

250g plain white flour

125g Semolina (Fine)



Heat the oven to 160°C

Beat the butter and the sugar together with a wooden spoon until smooth before adding a splash of UFIT Vanilla.

Stir in the flour and semolina, beat to get a smooth paste.

Turn on to a work surface and gently roll out until the paste is 1cm thick.

Cut into rounds or fingers and place onto a baking tray.

Sprinkle with caster sugar and chill in the fridge for 20 minutes.

Bake in the oven for 20 minutes or until pale golden-brown.

Set aside to cool on a wire rack.
